I'm going to build a raised bed in my backyard, I have some old branches and stuff I cut from my front yard and would like to use the biomass in my raised bed, hugelkultur style, I would just lay it on the bed floor and cover it up with soil
But I'm worried cause most of the branches and trunks come from trumpet vine (Campsis radicans), which spread easy and sends it's roots everywhere. Most of the stuff is cut a few months ago and has been laying around, but I have no prior gardening experience, so I'm wondering is it dead dead, and can it somehow spread even from these trunks and clippings?
Theres were no flowers and seeds in the mix, as far as I can remember
In the picture there's some other stuff that's green and not yet decomposed, should I try to compost it separately or just chunk it all in together in the bed?
Thanks
