>>1809377I haven’t gotten /out/ since the middle of winter. Went to my Cabin in Maine for a week. Did a fair amount of hiking on the lake, not too much off the lake, I need snow shoes.
I would have liked to spend more time hiking but the second half of the week was really windy and I got a low fever, so I just chilled in the cabin, feed the stove, and caught up on some reading. My sister was up with me and got some good pictures, I’ll post a few. Pic related really shows how windy it was at times, blowing snow dozens of feet into the air off the lake.
I want to start doing tent camping in the summer, I’ve not done it much in the last 5 years. My cabin is only a few hours hike off the AT, so I’m underutilizing some prime resources.
