>>1145773Ah, Europe. I thought you were just a stupid east coast fag who thought the west was all about Vegas and Big Sur. Apologies for my tone.
I'd sooner drive through Wyoming than Montana from Grand Teton/Yellowstone. Don't skip Devil's Tower in NE Wyoming. Mount Rushmore is sort of whatever, but kinda cool. Crazy Horse is nearby, and if you're already that far east, just a bit further east are the Badlands (pretty cool) and the infamous tourist trap Wall Drug (it's a joke).
South from Mount Rushmore is Scottsbluff in Nebraska, which it seems like you're passing. Also, efinitely do Great Sand Dunes and Black Canyon of the Gunnison in Colorado. Mesa Verde is Meh-sa Verde and the scenery is kinda ugly in SW Colorado. Parched landscape.
But definitely skip Arizona and the Grand Canyon to do Utah. You'll probably have time for the Grand Canyon anyway, and the north rim is the less touristy portion, which is accessible from the Utah side. Pic related is Bryce Canyon.
