So far after my venture down south to the state that’s under sea level, I have to ask, what’s really the best bait to use? I’ve been using Texas Rigs with crank bait such as Dingers, Christie Critters and Brush Hogs but I’ve only caught one bass and it was a retention pond.
I’m mostly fishing in a bayou and sometimes lake on shore.
I’ve snagged a bunch of brush and I’m really not sure what to do about that other than continue flipping. Pic related.
