How important is adhering to the recommended plant tolerance zone?
I live in Kentucky, a region considered to be a zone 7, but two of the trees I want to grow don't fit in this zone, Japanese maple, which is zone 3-6, and Rainbow Eucalyptus which is 9-11.
How hard of a time would I have growing these on my property?
At least Cider Gum trees and Sakura trees are supposed to do well in zone 7.
Any other neat looking trees that are good for making my place look weird?
