>>2270234You can just buy a filled one (the ones used for grills) for like $50. They're around $20-$25 to exchange for a filled one, which you can do almost anywhere. You just tell the clerk you want to trade your empty one for a filled one.
They're checked for damage when the company that refills them comes to collect and refill them.
The adapter is a DozyAnt I got on Amazon for like $15. It has a built in safety valve so you won't accidently fuck something up. It's solid brass, really solid feeling. It's probably the best one and affordable enough so don't cheap out, get the DozyAnt.
After 7 uses the filled tank and adapter pays itself off. Really consider getting some brass caps for the 1lb green tanks if you're thinking about doing this. They will leek a bit after the gasket wears.
