Yeah. I get that fly fishing is a little more high brow. But you could shoot the rarest duck and tie his feather into the perfect fly, and some dude who just took one of his gramp's novelty flys of his hat could still beat you.
There's just too much randomness and chance for there to be any real competition.
Fishing is just between me and the fish.
