>>1750759Develop a stable draw cycle, such that your body does the same thing every time. Its a bit extra, but I shoot two feather fletching so I don't break concentration looking down. Or waste money destroying cock feathers because I nock without looking.
Also, keep your distance short until groups get too tight. As you improve, aim for 2-5 spots on the target to avoid crowding. And do a weekly/monthly evaluation shot, six arrows in a single fist sized group before stepping back 5 yards at a time.
At 50 yards, intuitive shooting is supposedly impossible. I think this is a product of modern draw weights, and will be upping poundage to test this theory.
