>>1211095Swords....yeah that's something that I totally do wrong, I freehand them with the DMT diafold. They get sharp but not as sharp as somebody who would sharpen them the "right way" but I don't have that kind of time. It's only a full tang "tactical" katana and a spring steel gladius. Neither is super expensive but they will stand up to some abuse. I give them a few quick touch ups with the DMT diafold and they'll terrorize any bottle or can you put in front of them. They have good slicing geometry. They ain't proper, but they slice.
