id just like to mention that building carins is not lnt and violates the rules of every national and state park I can think of as well, as blm land. its disturbing natural features and is probably a ticketable offense. also if you think that carins are a good way to find your way around you need to read up or take a class in orienteering and wilderness navigation. point markers like that are super easy to miss.
