>>1819192Yes, August of 2019. I travel to Portland for work (I’m from the South), so I’m somewhat familiar with the area. If you’re going on a destiny vacation, you’re probably going to fly. It would take me roughly three days to drive to Oregon. The same could be said for most of the country, and there’s no doubt that the East Coast, South, and Midwest are vastly different than the West Coast or Southwest (there’s plenty of option for the Grand Canyon or the Sierras as well). Most of my hikes are one or two nights; anyone claiming otherwise is a liar or a hobo. So when I go on longer trips I’ve been stepping it up, dropping some cash, and checking out places that are almost alien to me.
>>1819205Being an abrasive asshole doesn’t count as having a personality. I do have a car, and I feel sorry for you being such a poorfaggot that you can’t save a measly few hundred dollars to fly to the other side of the country and go on a backpacking trip.
>I’ll just drive to a better spot. Cope harder.
