>>1104126Durability and flexibility, like I said in my post. Milsurp is overpriced crap now anyway. When it was dirt cheap at the end of the Cold War it was a decent value for what you got. It was never designed with comfort in mind and is outclassed by modern civvy gear everywhere except durability/ load bearing. That's why I use milsurp packs for hunting and civvy for backpacking.
