Alright, I have two questions for things I'm planning in the garden this year.
1. Are alot of tobacco seeds you buy infected with tobacco mosiac virus? I'm planning on growing nicotiana rustica and maybe normal tobacco plants around my garden to provide passive pest prevention (and eventually turn into pesticide). I probably won't do this if these seeds carry TMV, it'll tear through my tomatoes.
2. Anyone here ever bury fish under their garden? I was talking to an old farmer and he said that leaf compost and fish is all he ever used in his garden with great results. There is a alewife run that happens every spring and hundreds of the fish end up dead on the sides of a local brook, there would be no shortage of dead fish.
