Why do so many anglers ignore PCBs? Mercury is one thing since it seems to not be too bad in adult men, but PCBs have a lot of evidence showing they are seriously toxic, acting as a hormone disruptor and likely contributing to cancer. They are also fucking everywhere in waterways near cities or industrial areas. People still keep giant, old trout out of the great lakes, massive catfish from the Mississippi, and resident salmon from the puget sound without a second though. Like, people will feed this shit to their young children and pregnant wife. Is this ignorance, or do people not think it actually is a problem?
