>>1721893If you have no experience, get a guide book, a credencial in Paris and hike the voie de tours instead. It's part of the Camino de Santiago, you'll get cheap pilgrim accomodations every 20 to 30 kms, it will make the logistics of your first long distance hike a lot easier.
I'd recommend starting in Orleans or Tours unless you must start in Paris, you'll be lucky to find a hotel or a chambre d'hote between Paris and Orleans.
No need to go full UL but you should keep the base weight of your backpack under 8kg. Consider using trekking poles, they help a lot, especially downhill or over difficult terrain.
