He taught me everything I know and I really look up to him. We used to go on camping trips together when I was young frequently. He was the one that pushed my boy scout troop to go on trips almost every weekend and organized everything mostly by himself. I have so many fond memories and funny stories of our /out/. trips together. maybe one of my favorites was when he tried to knife fight a bear.

>im scared but hold the flashlight as my dad opens the tent >black bear snorting around our fire >Bear notices my dad and stands up and makes a weird sound. >dad yells at it to fuck off but it just stands there squaring us up >dad screams "im going to skin you" and charges the bear >dad is much bigger than the bear so it scurries off >dad rekindles the fire then apologizes to me that he couldn't give me a nice bear skin. > im still scared so he stays up all night with me in his lap by the fire until I fell asleep. Talked to him today and he is complaining about the weather because he is doing extreme cold weather testing for electric cars at the locks right now.
