>pic related, i picked these two up towards the end of the tripi forgot to put fresh studs in my boots and the ashtabula river is mostly shale. shale is slippery. i've never filled my waders up like that before, and i forgot to put my phone in a plastic baggie so i had to wait till i got home for a pic. top one is 23-24 inches, bottom one is 21-22
if your rod isn't a 7 weight or stiffer i would reccomend picking up an 8 weight, and let me know if you want to try to go fishing some time, i could show you how bad i am at spey casting
