Shoulder season is best obviously for ducking crowds. All fine and good.
But my favorite thing about out is seeing the life. Not just animals but plants to. And bugs.
Early spring, late fall, and winter has probably a fraction to see in that regard. Everything has died back, gone into hibernation or gone dormant.
What's the options for seeing green, vibrant landscapes, but ducking the crowds?
