On the market for an expedition pack. Managed a 10 day trip without a resupply this fall with my Khyber 50 but it had more stuff on the outside than a Christmas tree until most of the food was gone and it’s not made for loads that heavy, rather unplesant on my shoulders and upper back. Looking for something in the 80+ range with 100L being preferred. I’d enjoy a bag that won’t cut off all the circulation in my arms if I’m hauling meat/winter gear/climbing equipment. Needs to be reasonably light (3kg or less), somewhat snow/water resistant and have side compression straps so I can put my skis on the pack when snow isn’t deep enough for them.
Current candidate list:
HMG Porter 5400
Seek Outside 7400 (compresses down to a 20L pack if need be)
Osprey Xenith 105
Klättremusen Tor 100
