While Person got the rights to the Dunhill recipes and can more or less recreate them perfectly, Charatan were merely trying to imitate, or take inspiration from, the Dunhill blends. Unfortunately, Peterson taking over for Dunhill now made the Charatan line less relevant. Still, it's an interesting story and since they're inspirations rather than reproductions it makes them stand out in their own light.
