>>2451543Your own retardation, Cletus, doesn't seem to have boundaries. Why would you not count infants when calculating mean life expectancy?
>>2451613I'm eyeing Smartwool stuff as well, right now, but have yet to decide.
Cowboy/tarp camping? It'll be chilly. If you have a tent you'll be fine.
Besides, no shame in just buying a cheap fleece blanket later to extend the range of your stuff.
As for your silk liner, i personally find them small and restrictive, sometimes even sticky, you can't simply pull up a leg or something.
In winter i have just taken a duvet cover or whatever they are called in english, see pic. They are available in all sizes and materials, i prefer cotton, seersucker adds some texture that can trap some more heat. Also, cotton dampens the crinkly sound emanating from my sleeping pad (Thermarest something, looks like yours). Remove the zipper or better yet find some that have just buttons. Not ultralight, but super comfy and your stuff stays clean.
Enjoy your trip my man :^)
