For anyone hungry or needing supplies, learn to dumpsterdive, it's not "eating a half-eaten hamburger out of the garbage" meme people think it is. Stores throw away boxes of unopened foods with bags, packaging, boxes, rarely is it like household trash with rotten shit. I did it for years despite not being homeless because it lowered my grocery bills immensely and I ended up eating a lot better because of the fresh foods I found. Also dumpster diving doesn't just have to be for food, CVS, Walgreens, Harbour Freight, ACE Hardware, Dollar General, these places have resources you can use for yourself or even sell on craigslist/ebay for some money if needed. Medicine from CVS/Walgreens was a lifesaver for instance.
Just make sure you're legal and don't cause problems for the property owners, check local laws, don't leave shit everywhere, cleanup the area if it's messy even if you didn't do it, otherwise you might find a lock and a security guard next time.
