I practised making a fire with damp wood in preparation for the next 8 months of the year. Wasnt too bad getting something going but keeping it alight was tough. Only a practise run so didn’t make it very big but I think a bigger one would definitely be easier to keep going.
Love this time of year though. Not constantly sweating balls, stinging nettles are dying, bugs are disappearing and normies are scared to walk around the woods in the dark so I have them all to myself.
