>>2358967Congrats anon. It's so fun to get out there. I use a board myself, but I do have dreams of a larger boat as well. I recommend some marine varnish on the replacement wood to help keep it sealed for a long time, especially if you can't find cedar or cypress planks. Be careful though because it can get slick. I really hope you have fun. Take it places and get out there wherever you can. My board has become my favorite Frankenstein project.
