We found a 8000 Stella someone lost at a pier I fish at was on a nice star rod we opened up the reel it some how had just less then a shot glass of saltwater in it the washers showed now signs of damage some how after it being in the water for we guess might have been 3 days water did manage to get in that real.
Also I own a Van Staal VR200 with 42lbs or drag a damn 38 inch Snook was making that reel. Joke to own.
