>>2106347Not exactly spooky, but there are several abandoned railway tunnels in the mountains along the coast in Washington, Oregon and Northern California which were sealed off during WWII to prevent the from being used for easy access to the hinterlands in the event of a Japanese invasion of the mainland US. The tunnels remain sealed to this day, but they were only sealed off on their Western entrances and can still be entered from the east. Like I said they aren't exactly spooky in and of themselves, but it's interesting to imagine who or what could be lurking at the ends of half mile long tunnels in the middle of the woods in various parts of the PNW.
