>These are wild birds that I found living on an old abandoned property in southern Wisconsin and pretty much all looked like this. Feather legged pea combed green eggs laying fairly large birds. Took some eggs, but only got the mother to hatch let her sit last year and got the daughtrr and a couple black chicks (I bred her under my blue langshan cock) that Iended up giving to a buddy of mine. Tried going back last year and this spring. with equipment to trap birds and get a breeding population but couldn't find them again and I'm worried the wild flock has been lost.
Really love them, give me 15 years and I will have them transformed into the perfect barnyard breed.
