I got a question about flashlights. I bought a flashlight that's got a tailcap, and 3 modes of lighting. Dim, bright, and strobe. It transitions between modes by pressing the tailcap, so you have to press it at least 4 times to turn it on, and turn it off. It's not a big problem, but it is pretty annoying when I'm doing urbex and I think I hear footsteps or something.
Are there any DIY methods to just disable the other 2 methods of lighting so I only have a dim flashlight?
Also, anyone have experience with the duracell durabright costco sells? 12 bucks each, 500 lumens. 7hrs at 500 lumen output. Thinking of getting some to put in my cars.
