That doesn't mean that it's not well suited for wood in other areas however. For example I live in the Southeast US, but 2 of my favorite patterns are Michigan's and Jerseys. I also really like Tassies and Connecticuts. The most important part of an axe in regards to the application youre going to be using it in is the overall profile.
