It was slammed into switch stands and ladders and the only reason I had to replace it with a new one is because my dumb ass decided to open the back cover to replace the battery on a humid day and let moisture into it. I upgraded to a solar model 3 years ago and haven't had a problem. Weekend warriors might buy them to look cool, but they will hold their own in any condition you throw at them.
