I want a Fenwick rod but my next panfish rod will probably be another TFO. They have a 3-piece version that sounds great for when I travel around. I heard Fenwick has great customer support and warranty which is why I want to get one but I love my TFO rod a lot.
I looked at a Legalis but ended up getting a Pflueger President since I liked the Trion so much. I bought a Daiwa QZ 750 for my TFO Trout and Panfish and broke the bail spring a month after getting it which is why I got the President. Never got a response from customer support so kind of wrote Daiwa off after that.
The President uses a compression spring instead of a torsion spring so it's a HELL of a lot less fragile.
But I digress, it's just a me issue. I broke the drag clicker on my President so it isn't like I've never had an issue from that one either. Small reels are just so damn fragile. Still works though.
