>>2852674Mt. Washington isn't really that bad as far as the trail is concerned. On a bluebird day you can cruise up ammo or jewell in a few hours, but the danger is the weather. I'd rate some of the adjacent trails in the presidential range as harder. Jefferson has some pretty steep trails, 6 Husbands and Kings Ravine particularly. Nothing I've done in the northeast really compares to going up katahdin via cathedral though. Pic is from Hamlin ridge but you can see the route up cathedral on the right side.
