>>2580056I'm sure most sites across the country used the same general setup. Got a handful of sites in my service area (rockies) that are old LL sites. Some even have old L-carrier stuff in there. The history of some of the sites I work is one of the cool parts of my job. Concrete Arrows are another cool rabbithole.
These old sites have all sorts of hazards... most are still in service in some capacity, though not the original ATT stuff anymore. Land and buildings have been sold off to amtower/sba/crown castle, rented out to other carriers/providers/wireless co's. Security on some sites is better than others. Cleanliness on some sites is better than others. (Rats/mice/snakes, hantavirus, tetanus, space aids). Electrical and RF hazards. Chemical hazards (cleaners, battery acid, asbestos, grease/oils/fuels). Burns on hot equipment. Mechanical equipment that auto-starts and may not be guarded. Fall protection on the tower.
