I've heard many many old heads say "eating a bass is like cookin' up the family dog, you just don't do it" in my book bass is a sacred fish, it's the aquatic bald eagle. I'd never eat one, but I won't blame anyone else for doing it. That's their free will, as long as it's withing legal size.
