Hello sc/out/casts I have a question and this thread seems like a fairly relevant place. I got a nice pair of büts that aren't even a year old (i.e. not worn-out) but they've been through all kinds of hell, from UrBex to evading arrest to hiking the Presidential Range to stomping out fires to climbing trees to drunken stumbling through the woods. There's a small tear along one of the seams.
Now, it's not a huge deal, but I'm hiking about 20mi next weekend and I don't want this little tear to start taking purchase and turn into a big tear out in the middle of nowhere.
How to fix this? it's right next to the ball of my foot so it needs to be super flexible. Stiches? Glue? A combination of both?
Please help.
