>>2750243>>2750244I do something like hugelkultur simply because it's an easy way to add some filler to a garden bed or a raised bed since i have access to unlimited wood. I don't do no dig but i don't break up the soil that much unless it feels compact. I collect a lot of leaves in the autumn and use it to cover my beds next summer. Worms like it.
The question of whether these methods are superior or not is not that important if they make things easier for the gardener and work fine. Like if you don't have access to free wood then hugelkultur is not a good idea.
