The zoomers rejected copying the millenials for the longest time until COVID hit, and then when millenials were pro-lockdown, a lot of zoomers wanted to go anti-lockdown and pro-survivorman. So you get a slightly different generation of zoomers wanting to go outdoors because they've grew up watching survivorman videos during the covid lockdowns, and end up fetishizing the outdoors as a proxy for self-sufficiency (similar, but not the same as millenials).
