His conspiracy friends got a hot tip that the US military was going to nuke an undisclosed city in North Carolina, and use it to ignite a civil war and seize power in Washington.
Well none of that shit happened. They eventually came out of hiding in the woods, got back in the car, and drove home and never spoke of it again
