>>811352Oh, you want a rod and reel?
Here's the copypasta for that. It will be in US$$ so probably add like $10 to the prices. If you have a Cabela's nearby, they will probably have a handful of them. Cabela's will also have their store brand rod and reel combos and they will probably have a couple in your budget.
For your fishing, look for something around the 30 or 3000 size (it will say it somewhere on the reel). The reel will also have line reccommendations and a 3000 will be somewhere around "Mono- 6lb-180yds, 8lb-150yds, 10lb-130yds" and then get a spool of monofilament line like Trilene to spool it up. 8lb is probably the way to go and will be versatile. Cabela's will spool line for you too if you don't want to deal with it.
And it should be matched up with a rod. A 30 or 3000 sized reel will probably be on a 6'6" medium weight rod.

1) Abu Garcia Ike 2- $39
2) Quantum Bill Dance- $39
3) Shakespeare Ugly Stik GX2- $49
4) Pflueger Trion- $59
5) Bass Pro Tourney Pro- $59
6) Lew's Laser Speed Spool- $59
7) Abu Garcia Cardinal SX- $69
8) Daiwa Revros- $69
9) Mitchell 300- $69
10) Pflueger President- $79
11) Shimano Sedona/Sellus- $89
12) Mitchell 300 Pro- $89

On this list in your budget, I would say go for the Abu Garcia Cardinal SX, Pflueger Trion, or any of the Cabela's or Lew's ones you see at the store that you like. The Pflueger President combo is a great choice too but you may have to exceed your budget by $10-$20.
