Anyways, I'm pretty new to raised beds and gardening in general, so I think I overthought weed and pest protection for my garden.
The screen was to prevent moles and burrowing creatures and the mesh was to prevent weeds. Unfortunately, I'm only now realizing I probably didn't need either with a layer of dirt and logs sitting on it. Oh well, experience to make the next one better!
