>>1410816>>1416305We have double bed in the back of the Troopy next to internal shelving and the fridge. We have a drawer system which the mattress lies on top of. A fold out table is incorporated into this drawer system. We cook on a single large bbq burner with portable wind guards and a 4kg LPG (propane) bottle - cheap, safe & simple. We also have storage on the inner ceiling.
Be very meticulous of what you bring, its like hiking; the less - the better. Most items should be dual purpose or a necessity. You end up wearing the same clothes ever day so you can save lots of space here. Only have 1 weeks worth of fresh food and a few dry goods/cans, you're highly unlikely to die of starvation.
Off the top of my head here are some Mods and gear that I recommend (there will be heaps i forgotten):
> heavy duty 12v fridge with a Secop Danfoss Compressor (very low voltage draw) ours is 45L which is ample for 2 people> 50-80L water bladder with triple inline filter with 12v pump (for drinking water)>10L water jerry can and 10L portable water bladder (for cleaning, showers, extra water)>2 x 40L fuel jerry cans (I actually have 3 fixed fuel tanks that can carry 300L of diesel so only have 1 fuel jerry)>Dual Batteries to run fridge and other 12v accessories (fan, transcool, LED lights etc etc)>12v Inverter (to charge laptop, camera batteries, anything that can't be charged in a 12v socket)>Portable Solar panels (minimum 120w) so your stuff runs when you not driving>Have Maxtraxx, winch, air compressor, tire gauge, snap straps, shackles as a minimum for recovery gear>270 deg awning>have belts, engine/transmission/gearbox/diff/brake oils, fuel/oil/air filters as minimum spares>tools to fix car plus a long handle shovel & high lift jack
