I've had some pitch axis stability problems when submerging that cause the sub to nose up / down at really aggressive angles (>40 degrees), so I've built in bulkheads to partition off the forward and aft sections to create separate ballast tanks that can be individually blown/flooded.
Currently leak testing those bulkheads and then I'll be out again to attempt a deeper dive. There's a sunken sailboat at ~8ft depth in the river here that I'm planning to check out.
