>>907199My apologies for the delay on this. Just going to post a few pictures of my ruck and answer any questions anyone might have. My main issues with it are as follows. It doesn't carry anything comfortably, no matter what weight. It's lack of organization makes it really annoying to use. The outer pocket is pretty useless when it's full. It's a big bag, I happen to be 6'5 so I think it looks good on me but unless you're tall this is going to look weird on you. No easy way to carry a water bottle (will show pics of my shitty solution). Also I really am annoyed that Goruck tries to sell it being a shit bag by pretending that its makes you a real macho army guy. There's a reason no one actually uses these bags in the military (as opposed to Kifaru, MR, and Eberlestock). The GR1 is a fashion pack, don't kid yourself otherwise. Yeah it's tough but it's not at all a practical. All those idiots that take them in the woods want to justify their 300$ purchase (myself included). You'll be better off with the 20$ packable daypack you can get from Ediie Bauer then this backpack. FWIW it's a pretty shitty travel bag too. I love my TB synapse in that role. These days I use the GR when I need to carry a ton but most of the time I go out it's with my synapse.
