Draw length is based on how big you are.
Couple ways to do this.
Some say take your wingspan, subtract 15in, divide by 2. Others say wingspan divided by 2.5. I prefer the first.
With a recurve, draw length also determines draw weight. One pair of limbs, for example, will have 35lbs draw weight WITH a 62in string AT 28in draw length.
