>>2599981Because it’s a knoife and if you actually use any of your tools, there is ALWAYS a situation where you need a small prying tool and the knoife is the closest thing to a pick or small screwdriver that you have access to.
Overall, I wasn’t a fan of that blade shape. It’s not great if you need to chop stuff either when it’s on a flat surface unless you bring whatever you’re chopping right to the edge of said flat surface. The Esee is better in every way. Also the sheaths on both Esees have stayed tighter for longer than the CRKT.
For ~$30, I got my use out of it, and it made me realize what I wanted/ didn’t want when I got my next knoife.
