So basically i'm planning to do some longer backpacking trips this summer. I live in a relatively dry area (southern Portugal) and the places i'm planning to go are near the either coastline or have no running creeks and therefore i have no water sources available. How do you guys deal with this? In two or three day trips i can usually get by with a couple 1.5L bottles or a 5L on my 70Lbackpack, but any longer than i'm fucked. For cooking i usually use saltwater to boil pasta or rice and i get a nice natural seasoning so it's really only for drinking
