Hello. I´ve got a week long camping trip to Czechia coming up in july so im looking over my things again to prepare for it. My last tent broke and so i thought i´d buy a hammock and a tarp to go along with it instead cause it seems way cheaper than buying an actually ok tier tent.
I´ve never used a hammock for camping, so are they good? Are they better in comparison to tents. Seems like being off the ground solves the possibility of the ground soaking your floor and also it's much colder to sleep on the ground.
