I'm hoping to get something made with very high quality, even if it costs extra. I've heard good things about Damascus steel.

Alternatively, any good websites for buying knives, or getting something custom-made with quality? I'm willing to go up to $300 for a good knife.
Any suggestions or tips? I currently have a 6" knife I got from a stall in Pakistan, its very sharp and curved but only single edged and I want something better for slipping in and out.
