>>2287639They will have trouble doing that as the Amish have practically no exposure to tv, internet, mobile phones so they won’t know about it to begin with, but you have to remember that the Amish actually discipline their children and if they continue breaking rules then they simply get excommunicated and shunned which removes them as an influence on the others in the community.
They have their own schools which they only go to until they are 13 years old, they have their own newspapers which are more about local stuff like births, deaths, marriages, disasters, festivals, auctions, religious stuff and jobs rather than literal propaganda in the case of normal rags and they speak a different language while not even becoming proficient at English until they are teens.
Corrupting the Amish is gonna be difficult for them especially considering the Amish are not a single organisation or even remotely centralised so even if they succeed at ruining 1 district somehow, it will be separate from the thousands of other districts which have their own bishop and leaders. Don’t forget the different kinds of Amish which can be extremely strict even by their own standards to the point that they refuse to even interact with more liberal sects.
