>>2340121So here’s the thing about the Sawyer Squeeze and Mini. They have to be back flushed to clean out sediment. So after a hike, you get home and clean it so it’s not clogged on your next hike. But back flushing it with hard water will just cause it to clog even worse if it sits unused for a month.
But if you don’t use it in January because it’s duck hunting season, or you live in the south and keep things more mellow in August, when you go to use your filter again it could be clogged from mineral deposits. You’ll have to flush it with vinegar.
Im certain filters are more popular than chemicals because of the dreaded California Influence.
